Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your driver/guide will meet you at your hotel early in the morning after breakfast and set off on the southwestward road to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stop over at the Royal Drum makers, stand on the Equator and be in both hemispheres at once and thereafter proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will continue through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Checkin at a lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning wake up for the morning game drive to catch up with early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. During the game drive, you will be likely to meet grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, water bucks, stripped jackal, leopard and of course the several warthogs.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relax by the side of the swimming pool before taking an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. On the cruise you will see hippos, Buffalo, kobs, and elephants at the water edges. You may also see some crocodiles recently introduced in this park. Have a spectacular bird watching on the water banks especially marine birds. Retire to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
After a very early breakfast, enjoy a game drive enroute to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking and a variety of primates. Return to Kampala after the tracking. Lunch on route and arrive in the city late evening. Note that Chimpanzee tracking is an optional activity in our tours to Queen Elizabeth and in case you need it an extra amount should be paid in addition to the actual cost of the safari .
