7 Days | Iconic Reserves, Tree-Top Stays & Wildlife Wonders
This extraordinary Kenyan safari paints a moving portrait of East Africa’s most varied landscapes — from Samburu’s arid beauty to the lush Aberdare forests, the shimmering lakes of the Rift Valley, and the legendary savannahs of the Masai Mara. Designed for the traveler who craves diversity in both scenery and wildlife, this journey brings together cultural encounters, rare species, luxurious lodges, and moments that feel lifted from a nature documentary. It’s not just a safari; it’s a story waiting to be lived.
Set off from Nairobi heading north to the striking terrain of Samburu, a land defined by rugged hills and the Ewaso Nyiro River. Arrive in time for lunch and later venture out for your first game drive in search of Samburu’s special five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk.
Spend the day immersed in the raw beauty of Samburu. With both morning and afternoon game drives, expect encounters with elephants, lions, and a vibrant array of birdlife — all framed by a dramatic desert backdrop.
After breakfast, journey south toward the cool, misty forests of the Aberdare range. Settle in at a tree hotel perched above a floodlit waterhole where wildlife comes to you — often silently, mysteriously, under the cover of night.
Descend into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Search for white rhinos, elusive leopards, and possibly a pink halo of flamingoes. Later, continue to the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive through the highlands and into the world-famous Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then venture out for a thrilling game drive across the wildlife-rich plains that inspired “The Lion King.”
The entire day is devoted to exploring the Mara. With morning and afternoon game drives, witness the rhythms of the wild — from hunting lions to wandering elephants, and if the timing is right, perhaps even a glimpse of the Great Migration.
After a final early morning game drive and breakfast, journey back to Nairobi, arriving by midday — your memory card full, your soul fuller.
